About the Attorney-Mediator
Erika Anne Englund is an experienced family law attorney and a trained professional mediator. After years of watching
families emotionally and financially destroyed by the family courts and family lawyers, Ms. Englund left litigation to
provide sane, sensible options for divorce resolution. She has developed her own unique packages designed to help couples
resolve disputes quickly, efficiently, and at reasonable cost, while seeking to maintain dignity and mutual respect.
Ms. Englund is a volunteer community mediator as well as a volunteer pro bono mediator in the Placer County court.
She teaches Family Law in the Paralegal Program at Heald College, speaks to local organizations about the benefits of
mediation, and is a volunteer attorney-coach for local Teen Court sentencing programs.
Ms. Englund was born in Auburn, California. She graduated from Placer High School in Auburn, the University of California
at Davis, and McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento. At McGeorge, after entering with honors, she earned distinction as a
member of the international ethics organization, the Inns of Court, as a student-editor of the Journal of National Security
Law and Policy, and as a founder of the Junior Barristers’ Club.
In her spare time, Ms. Englund makes attempts at cooking and golf, travels, and sees as many musicals as possible.
She lives in Folsom with her family.
